Today was forecast to be clear, sunny and in the upper 60s, so the boys and packed a lunch and headed to the beach. It only got better from there. There was an ever so slight breeze and the temps were in the 60s when we got there and upper 70s by the time we left after lunch. We pretty much had the beach to ourselves, it was just a wonderful morning.

And both of them even got brave enough to dip their toes in the water:
Although Quincy didn't understand to pull up his pants and ran quickly away from the water after getting more wet than he wanted, the upside is he stayed well away from the water after that, so I didn't have to worry. Miles on the other hand, made sure his pants were up high well before he got close to the water:

Hey guys that looks so inviting. The beach looks like it was just waiting for 2 little boys to run all over and start digging. Glad you had fun and Gramma looks forward to sharing a day at the beach with you sometime soon. That is once skiing is officially done for the season. Love Gramma M
