Pool

It was a beautiful day today, so we pulled out the kiddie pool, had some fun and got wet. The water was a bit chilly, but a good time was still had by all.
Miles showed us that he has learned our lessons about making choices. Miles was allowed to play with the hose spraying water, as long as he only sprayed a few specific things. He decided to spray Quincy as well. When asked why he sprayed Quincy, he told us "Because that was my choice."

Q using his walker

Quincy has been zooming around the house today with his walker. When he walks with it he only goes a few steps at a time. But using it this ways seems to work pretty well for him. Except for steering, he hasn't figured that out yet.

Just playing

Here are some pictures of the boys just playing together, well playing next to each other on the same toy, while subtly trying to push each other out of the way.

And here are some pics of our little Q haming it up for the camera.

Bathtime

Miles was calling these his nipples. And a few minutes before this picture was taken, Miles had them on his belly, and said they were just like Mommy's.

Strawberry picking

We went out strawberry picking again this morning. As usual, it was a fun family trip, and we got lots of yummy strawberries. Quincy slept through the strawberry picking, again.
Yesterday, I gave Miles the choice of going strawberry picking or waiting until today when Mike could go with us. He absolutely wanted to wait so he could pick strawberries with his Daddy. And here they are, picking together:
Mike found the most unique strawberry either of us have ever seen:

Miles was great last time we went picking, and most of the strawberries went into the basket. This time, only a few made it into the basket.
And Quincy woke up just as we were leaving the fields.

Big boy or baby?

Miles is so close to being able to pedal his tricycle all by himself. He can pump the pedals a few times, but his legs are still just a smidge too short.
On the other hand, his legs are definitely not too short for Quincy's exerscaucer!

Grandma & Grandpa D

Mike's parents came down to visit us this week. Only a few days, but it was great to see them and Miles and Quincy loved seeing their Grandparents and Justin. We went to Mike's spring band concert, and spent a nice day at the beach. Of course, the only pictures I took were at the beach, so, again, here are some more beach pictures.

Grandpa took the boys down to the water a few times, one trip was with Miles and Justin:

And another trip was with Miles and Quincy, I do believe it was Quincy's first time getting close to the water at the beach:

Then, of course, Miles and Justin had lots of fun digging in the sand:

P-me

A few weeks ago we were joking with Miles about stinky feet and such, pinching our noses and saying "p-u." Well on Sunday he and Mike were smelling their feet and joking again. Miles smelled Mike's foot and said "Eww, p-you!" Then he smelled his own foot and said "Eww, p-me!"

We're home

We had an unexpected trip out of town. The boys and I spent the last week and a half at my parents house, Mike joined us for a few days. The boys and I got back home this morning, at about 3:30 am. After a couple hours of sleep we are now trying to muddle through the day. It was nice to see so much of my family, and, Grandma, we love you.
