Brushing his hair

This evening I let Miles watch a movie. As he was watching the movie I checked a few things on the computer. When I went back in the living room, Miles was not there. I found him in the bathroom, no light on, brushing his hair with his toothbrush. This child has never brushed his own hair unless he stumbled across a brush or comb. So here he is, in the dark, brushing the hair on the back of the top of his head, with his toothbrush. I gave him one of my hairbrushes, and he asked for the other hairbrush, and he proceeded to continue to brush the same spot on his head with both hairbrushes.
